Mansoureh Shojaei

Mansoureh Shojaei is a prominent women's rights activist and co-founder of the One Million Signature Campaign [a feminist movement] and a member of Women's Cultural Center. She was arrested in of December 2009. No one knew of her whereabouts until two days ago when she called her husband and told him in a few sentences that she is in Evin. She is recognized to be a very active women's rights defender who tried to worked above and beyond the politics of Iran during which she traveled to Iranian provinces and to organized workshops for women to teach them about their family and social rights.
